The Millennium Bridge in London is quite beautiful. When it first opened, though, it wobbled a lot. While we were reassured that the bridge was perfectly safe, this movement was rather disconcerting. So in 2001 a series of stainless steel balls were installed to stop the wobbling. This is one of them.
