Back in April 2023 I reviewed The Writer’s Journey, and this is a companion volume by the same author. It covers a wide range of artists, and includes not only maps of their journeys but photos of the areas and illustrations of their paintings, as well as biographical information.

So far I’ve read the entry on Caravaggio, and that was a delightful read. Well, he was quite a character anyway, which is a good start! Next on my list is Munch, followed by Hokusai. Here’s the complete list of artists covered:

I think you’ll agree that that’s quite an eclectic selection.
