It’s a great shame that the government decided not to implement the EU copyright directive. You’ll find information about it on the Society of Author’s page about copyright. I’m hoping that we’ll adopt something which closely resembles it.
The Westminster Forum is hosting a conference about these issues, tomorrow (16 July 2020). Details of the agenda and the speakers (which include Nicola Solomon of the Society of Authors) may be found here:
