On 1st February 2020 I published a review of Robert Graves’ The Greek Myths. Perhaps this is sacrilegious, but I was impressed only by unreadable the book is. As I put it then:
“It reads like an Argos catalogue, but with characters rather than products, and not nearly as interesting.”
